ACTUARIAL ANALYST - BRISTOL

A Leading Life, Pensions and Investments Company are expanding their Rectification work streams, so are recruiting for a partly qualified or a qualified Actuary who has strong experience dealing with large volumes of data and have the ability to come up with one solutions that works for all.

THE ACTUARY ANALYST WILL BE DOING THE FOLLOWING ON A DAILY BASIS:

- Writing calculation specs
- Building models in Access - as data is stored in Access
- Testing IT models
- Performing remediation calculations for policies and checking calculations
- Handling queries relating to the use of the models
- Determining approaches to non-standard cases.

THE SUCCESSFUL ACTUARY ANALYST WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Part Qualified or Junior Actuary essential.
- Proficient use of Excel and VBA
- Access/SQL experience
- Ability to work well with large data sets
- Ability to translate documented requirements into model calculations
