LOCATION: Greece - Club Vounaki
Part of the TUI Travel Group, Sunsail has been perfecting the ideal sailing holiday since 1976.
Sailing is like the way of life for Sunsail. Sunsail Club Vounaki offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new. We are passionate about watersports and offer a wide range of water-based activities for all guests, including dinghy sailing and qualifications, waterskiing, windsurfing and kayaking. Our Kid's Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include tennis courts, fitness studio and mountain biking.
Our season starts in April and ends in November. You will need to be available for the full season. However we are happy to accept applications for our reserve list from candidates who will become available during the season.
About the role
As a Lifeguard/Activities Assistant you will ensure a safe swimming environment and assist in the running of the Kid's clubs and evening care programme. Providing care, safety and entertainment for children ranging from 5 -1 7 years.
In this exciting and fulfilling dual role you will be responsible for:
Maintaining a safe environment around the poolside and Supervise both children and adults whilst acting as Lifeguard. When working as an Activities Assistant as part of the Kid's Club you will ensure the safety of all children involved in kids club activities. You will be responsible for headcounts and continuous supervision of children throughout the day including during lunch and evening activities. You will also carry out beach duties when not running kids activities, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats.
About you
Requirments:
NPLQ/NARS/RLSS qualification First Aid certificate RYA level 2 sailing Experience caring and participating in activities with 5 - 17 year olds Previous experience of life guarding Knowledge of health and safety legislation Ability to work as a reliable member of the team Highly motivated individual Competent swimmer Good communication skills - oral and written Excellent customer service skills Suitable CRB check
