Active Directory Engineers

Edelway is a Swiss/Spanish IT Services company.

We run projects for global clients in Switzerland and Spain and we are looking for Active Directory Engineers (English speakers) on a long term basis. We can either offer a contract or permanent opportunities. Among the Active Directory Engineer roles, some are specialised in migration.

Active Directory Engineer

THE ROLE:
*At least 5 years of experience deploying Active Directory forests and Domains for a large, geographically dispersed enterprise (minimum 1000 users)
*Experience with complex Scripting leveraging PowerShell
*Exposure to the Windows security model, including Active Directory, SIDs, ACLs, etc.
*Familiarity with LDAP, NIS, NTLM and Kerberos protocols
*Understanding of public and symmetric key cryptography
*Knowledge of SMB, NFS, HTTP and FTP file transfer protocols

Active Directory Migration Engineer

THE ROLE:
*Support Active Directory migration providing technical leadership, strategy, architecture, and operational support for end user environment.
*Provide technical leadership in evaluating, designing, implementing, and supporting a migration from one Active Directory domain to a new Active Directory domain.
*Proven design, planning and implementation experience with Active Directory
*Sound understanding of storage networking and backup solutions
*Perform Scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell or other Scripting technology; developing scripts for automating processes
*Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, DNS, Load Balancing, PKI
*Assist in defining policies and procedures in the areas of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Monitoring, and Systems Administration/Security
*Extensive knowledge of migration tools like Quest Migration Manager.
