Job Title: Active Directory Consultant
Job Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Contract

Active Directory Consultant with excellent exposure to LLD, domain migration and powershell scripting required for an exciting opportunity with a global organisation currently undergoing an IT end user consolidation process.

Primarily you will be working with an existing team of AD contractors tasked with exploring large and complex domains in order to be able to provide consultancy on an eventual migration to a newly built AD domain.

If you would like to be considered for this role I require you to be able to prove a solid track record in the following areas;

* Building AD infrastructure and associated services in a new Windows 2008 R2 domain e.g. DCHP, DNS, Domain Controllers, GPOs, ADFS, PKI, File and Print Services etc.,
* Transition services from the domain being divested to the new domain
* Produce documentation
* Transition to BAU

Skill Set

Candidate must have following technical skill set:

- Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008/2012 Design, Deployment and Migration experience essential
- A working knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and Vsphere is essential
- Experience of delivering of enterprise wide Group policy changes using scripted approach
- Experience with setting up and managing Active Directory 2003 or 2008 R2 forests, domains, domain controllers, OUs, GPOs, ACLs, delegation
- Experience of domain migrations/consolidations
- Experience of divestitures and
- Experience of Azure would be beneficial
- Active Directory Scripting i.e. PowerShell, VBscripting
- Demonstrable experience of working in an enterprise environment
- Storage fundamentals
- Network fundamentals
