JOB TITLE: Acquisition Safety Manager
PAY RATE: £290.00
LOCATION: Bristol
CONTRACT LENGTH: ASAP - until End of July 2015

To provide acquisition safety guidance and support to Logistics Commodities project teams. To act as  the SME for all Safety matters and to lead the Safety & Quality function.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

To ensure that Acquisition Safety, Quality and OHSE are represented and Embedded across the Log Com Delivery Teams.

To lead, develop and motivate his/her team in accordance with stated objectives and levels of service.

To ensure Log Com's compliance policy and procedures (ASEMS, OHSE and Quality).

To maintain full Assurance across the DE&S Standardised Reporting Tool (SRT) question set.

Produce and maintain the Log Com Safety & Environmental Management System (SEMS) by checking its validity, its currency and its documents.

To ensure that the Log Com SEMS is communicated by appropriate means to Log Com Delivery Teams and Stakeholders.

Produce and maintain the Log Com Quality Plan by checking its validity, its currency and its documents.

To ensure that the Log Com Quality Plan is communicated by appropriate means to Log Com Delivery Teams and Stakeholders.

Provide acquisition safety across Log Com

Oversee the review and improvement of safety cases across the Medical team.

Directly support Log Com Delivery Teams in the development of safety plans/cases.

Directly support Log Com Delivery Teams in the development of quality plans

Embed Quality & Safety culture and skills throughout the Log Com Delivery Teams.
