Company is currently underway to plan for and implement corporate restructure to integrate Irish operations into the wider parent company regulatory, reporting and operation structure (both UK and North American).
Key accountabilities will include:
- Translation of the purchase equation for the acquisition of the Irish company into UK GAAP.
- Reflect EU group restructure in financial statements of UK entities.
- Implement ongoing procedures for the valuation of parent company investment into Irish company, including annual impairment review.
- Prepare analysis of options for future financial reporting, either under UK GAAP or IFRS.
- Support month end, quarter end close and consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory, professional and legal requirements. Update and establish standards where appropriate.
- Complete review of 2013 results, including assessment of impact of moving from estimated to final results.
- Support the preparation of 2014 Statutory Accounts and Regulatory Returns reflecting the enlarged group.
Would suit individual with minimum 10 years post qualification experience. Initial contract length 6 months with possibility of extending beyond that. Day rate circa £500.
