Accounts Restructure Manager

Spring Technology are looking for an Accounts Restructure Manager for an estates team within our public sector client based in Birmingham.

Objective:
To enhance the current estate accounts operational function in order to drive out efficiency savings, improve stakeholder experience and staff satisfaction. This will include the implementation of a package of IT changes and a re-model of the current teams that deliver services in relation to estate accounting. All aspects must be delivered in a within a defined timescale and at value for money with a target date for delivery of 1st February 2015.

Work involves:
* Responsible for the definition and documentation of the project(s) to completion. Identify, assess and manage the risks to the project.
* Ensure that realistic project plans are prepared/maintained and provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
* Manage the project change control procedure and ensure that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets.
* Provide effective leadership to the project team and take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.

Experience and Skills:
* Can demonstrate successful delivery of similar projects, throughout the project life cycle.
* Understands the tools and concepts described in the project description.
* Proficient in the methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial compliance against an agreed plan. Can provide previous examples
* Proficient in the principles and methods of PRINCE2 or a similar methodology.
* Proficient in the methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects, based on product based planning.
* Proficient in the identification, assessment and management of project risks.
* Familiar with the methods and techniques for managing contracts to ensure that suppliers adhere to agreed contract requirements.
* Familiar with the methods and techniques for negotiating contracts for the supply of IT products and services.
* Familiar with the Microsoft Project 2010 and Office 2010.
