Accounts Receivable Specialist Job

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SAN JOSE, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Accounts Receivable processing experience
- Knowledge of basic Accounting principles
- SAP Knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The duties of the AR Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department.
- They should provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, calling customers, making account adjustments, processing small balance write offs, facilitating customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
- They will be accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts while performing other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable/Sales Department.
- When necessary, they will enlist the efforts of sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process.
- They must be able to communicate and follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis while establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with dispatch, billing, and other internal departments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ability to manipulate and function in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers
- Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
