Our client, a leading Blue Chip company is currently recruiting for Billing to join their expanding team, in their Crawley Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading international company.
The core function of the position is to process payments received from business customers for products and services received. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all incoming payments, using a variety of billing systems, and reconciling the allocations to the agreed totals. This role will involve contacting external customers and internal Credit Management Teams to resolve outstanding payments, and any queries.

Skills and experience required

* Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail - competent and accurate keyboard user.
* IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, in particular MS Excel
* Numerate and analytical - able to understand and perform basic arithmetic and identify any anomalies.
* Good communication skills - able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties to resolve queries
* Previous experience of working within an Accounts Receivable function would be an advantage
* Key negotiating skills and the ability to influence others
