Accounts Receivable

We are currently seeaking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for 6 month fixed term contract.

Job Overview:
Within collections, this position is responsible for the reduction of an assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio and forecasting cash expectations within the assigned portfolio whilst providing updates back to the respective Credit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Be Single Point of Contact with clients in regards to handling all nature of situations which arise from normal collections chasing (phone/e-mail/letters) to resolving disputes on invoices.
Provide finance approval on all new deals across each CA line of business, in terms of checking against any risks on customer account from money due/payment terms/purchase orders/legal name, billing details etc.
Work to monthly/quarterly cash targets across both ledgers for UK/Ireland and Globally.
Work to goal of ensuring aged receivables on respective accounts is kept to team target.
Work with the sales team and field finance as needed to resolve open account items.
Provide assistance with special projects assigned by Credit Manager.
Help develop others by communicating best practices, leading by example, and mentoring.
Responsible for assigned territory and keeping current with best practices.
Accountable for accomplishments and results of own portfolio.

Requirements

Typically 2 or more years of related business experience and collection experience.
SAP and ''Get Paid'' application experience a plus.
Ability to work on own independence, and escalate when necessary to Credit Manager. Essential to work with a team environment, and provide assistance when needed to colleagues at peak times of the month, dependent on work to be completed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work individually and in a team essential, Deadline driven, Sound judgment skills.
