Location: Gravesend (Kent)
Contract Duration: 1 month
Rate: up to £160pd

An Accounts Payable Supervisor is required to undertake a 4 week contract. You will be responsible for managing the payables function within the organisation to deliver a high level of professional service in relation to supplier invoices and internal business requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. To work with stakeholders to implement the processes for the delivery of processing 500,000 supplier transactions
2. Manage the processing of all purchase ledger invoices and applications for payment using the organizations systems, in accordance with signed contracts and supplier purchase orders and company policies and procedures.
3. Work with budget holders and suppliers to resolve issues on unpaid/disputed invoices
4. Maintain up-to-date supplier reconciliations
5. Report the number of retrospective Purchase Orders raised within the organisation periodically and create awareness amongst staff to drive this number down
