ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST - 6 MONTHS - EXCELLENT DAILY RATES - DUBLIN IRELAND

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for a Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team in a 9 months Contract. The role offers excellent rates.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Temporary position reporting to the AP Manager (team of 3 in Dublin and 16 offsite in India & Romania)
- To have a good knowledge of the Procure to Pay process and how it applies to the role of AP Specialist. To be responsible for ensuring the teams process both PO and non-PO related invoices for the EMEA Region in a timely manner by managing the daily metrics
- To ensure correct invoice/PO matching, VAT distribution, coding and approval of non-PO related invoices as per the approval policy
- To provide support to internal customers (marketing, sales & finance) in respect of how to submit an invoice To manage and perform the month end close activities of the AP module and to perform month end reconciliations between the AP module and the GL.
- To manage and answer vendor queries in an organized and prompt manner To review and action balances which become over 30 days old or are on hold using internally generated pivot table reports.
- Perform regular account reconciliations for major vendors and vendors in dispute.
- To build a relationship with Finance and purchasing staff to assist in the efficient management of the ledgers. This will involve the participation in a weekly call/meeting with the local finance
