SALARY: up to £18,000
LOCATION: Wilmslow, Cheshire
DURATION: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
HOURS: 35 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CONSULTANT at a leading mutual life and pension's company in Wilmslow. This role is a 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT that could lead to bigger things.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide a service to the business for ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE and PERSONAL EXPENSES.
- Assist the team to efficiently achieve daily deadlines
- PROCESS SUPPLIER INVOICES, STAFF EXPENSES and SALES LEDGER
- PROCESS PAYMENTS, RECEIPTS and PERSONAL EXPENSES which should all be completed on a same day next day turnaround and in compliance with Finance Standards.
- Provide a high level of CUSTOMER SERVICE and TEAM SUPPORT
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of SAGE FINANCIAL SYSTEMS OR SIMILAR GENERAL LEDGER.
- ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE and experience, particularly within ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND SALES LEDGER.
- Good IT skills/Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
