Accounts Payable Clerk - 6 months - Speke - Negotiable Hourly Rate

A leading Pharmaceuticals client of Hyphen is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Speke, Liverpool.

The role holder will have a minimum of C grades in Maths and English GCSE's or equivalent and have accounts payable in SAP experience. They will have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills with a drive for results, always striving for constant improvement. The successful applicant will have good oral and written communication skills as they will frequently be liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments.

The purpose of the role is To pay for goods ordered and received in a timely manner. To collect receipts from customers on a timely basis.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

*Inputting invoices into SAP and matching against order & goods received notes
*Resolving both internal and external invoice queries
*Reconciling monthly supplier/customer statements checking that all data matches
*Producing, reviewing and sending invoices to the customers checking that information is correct
*Monitoring debt position and reconciling statements to ensure timely receipt of customer payments and bank receipts as necessary
*Communicating with the customer, customer services and UK sales and marketing staff as necessary to ensure collection of debts owed
*Producing information required for financial cash flow monitoring purposes
*Preparing payment runs
*Maintaining master data including periodic review and liaison with procurement and customer services.
*Actively maintaining and promoting a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant culture, ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping and safety are applied within his/her area in accordance with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) rule book the Orange Guide and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
*Working in a safe manner in compliance with all pertinent UK
