Our client, specializing in real estate management services is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge with accounting principles and AP processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.

Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.

Pays vendors, scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.

Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

Maintains historical records by filing documents.

Disburses petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation.

Responsible for AP month end close.

Responsible for affiliate and intercompany payable transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree required, Bachelor's preferred

Must have 2-4 years experience in an automated AP processing environment

MS Application such as Excel and Word

Must be detailed and organized.

Must have time management skills

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to communicate and work with various functional groups.

Type: Temp

Pay: $18/HR

Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm
