An experienced accounts assistant is required for a leading financial organisation based in Edinburgh.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of reporting packs including, Marketing & Travel costs, Balance sheet reconciliation, variance reporting, identification & investigation of potential process improvements.
Producing journal inputs, including fixed asset depreciation, additions and disposals, commission and bad debt accruals.
Working in a team covering Back Office duties
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience of an accounting role or similar
Experience of preparing monthly accounting journals
Studying towards accounting qualifications (desired)
Experience with Excel and Access
The role is a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential of going permanent. Interviews are being conducted immediately so do apply if you would like to be considered for the role.
