Accounts Assistant

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT/FINANCE ANALYST

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Accounts Assistant/Finance Analyst for a 3 month contract role based in Preston.

The role will be to assist in general financial activities as well as to provide accurate analysis to accurately and promptly in line with business requirements.

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Assessing and developing procedures to improve effectiveness of finance function
- Carry out standard analysis and forecasts as well as ad hoc reporting
- Monitoring staff performance to ensure work assigned is completed to business standards on time.
- Investigate and analyse any variances in regards to procedures and systems implemented into the business.
- Other ad hoc duties to assist in the smooth running of the finance function.

The ideal person will have experience within a similar role and ideally be studying towards a recognised finance qualification.

To carry out a range of financial technician/analyst activities in a specialist area within defined procedures and processes.
