Our client is seeking an Accounts & Administration Assistant to cover a 9 month period of maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for flexibility, as the client can consider candidates who want to work anything between 27.5 - 35 hours per week, as long as this covers the Monday to Friday period.

Based at the clients offices in Kirkham, the successful candidate will be reporting to the Financial Director and will have a diverse and varied workload with responsibility for:

Raising of Sales invoices/Applications
Assist in matching delivery notes to PL invoices and verification of same
Entering Purchase ledger invoices onto Evolution
Dealing with PL queries
Some credit control
Telephone and reception work including assisting with incoming telephone calls to the department
Database update
Reporting on length of service of staff
Assisting with the reporting of Work In Progress reports on a monthly basis
Filing and distributing correspondence as requested
Assist with the filing of all the Accounts Department's paperwork (shared workload)
Deal with all arrangements for the Christmas Function
Such other duties as may be reasonably requested or expected of you by the company
