Accounting Technology Support Consultant - International Travel

An international accounting software provider are looking to grow their support time by taking on a support specialist with an accountancy background as well as skills with SQL and Crystal Reports.

The successful support specialist will have the following skill set / experience:

* SQL Database Experience
* Report building and maintenance using SSRS or Crystal Reports
* An account background or qualification
* Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
* Excellent presentation skills
* Professional client facing attitude

After an initial period of training in my client's product offering (approximately 6 months), the successful support consultant will be expected to take on the following responsibilities:

* Respond to practice management support cases
* Working with the company and colleagues to help meetSLAcommitments
* Support consultants remotely and onsite
* Specific responsibility for practice management application, database and related product support, including installation and associated network environment
* Use SQL scripting, SQL Profiler and similar tools/skills to resolve cases as necessary
* Maintain helpdesk/CRM system. Internal records and systems as required or requested
* Assist with application testing both internally and onsite when required to do so
* Carry out chargeable work/services including application and installation consultancy, reporting, data manipulation, general SQL etc as and when required or requested
* Provide troubleshooting and handholding support to colleagues and clients on site at times of project go live as requested.
* Provide services scoping, quote and specification of work as and when requested to do so
* Liaise closely with colleagues in development and consulting to progress and ultimately close cases, communicating with clients as required or requested.
