Accounting Technician

Accounting Technician role based in Cornwall, excellent client and a great opportunity.

We are looking for people to assist with a variety of tasks, to include:

Processing income, completing reconciliations, identifying and correcting miscodes, completing and processing journals, clearing suspense accounts and producing information as requested for Accountants.

Candidates will need to be AAT qualified or part qualified with previous experience of working within a Finance role.

Strong IT skills to include Excel are required, previous experience of Oracle and OBI would be desirable.

Candidates need to be team players, pro active, flexible in their approach to work and able to communicate effectively with a range of people.

Provide financial information and advice to departmental staff

Prepare monthly budget monitoring information and forecast outturn

Review and monitor the transactions on the accounts

Ability to maintain and report and present information

AAT qualified or part qualified would be desirable.

Competent in the use of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Previous use of the SUN system (desirable)
