ACCOUNTING CLERK needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI.
THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Five (5) years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Experience with MAS 200 Accounting system a plus.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- The accounting specialist will be responsible for basic accounting, preparing reports and reconciliations.
- Prepare and assist with reconciliation process
- Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups
- Research, track, and resolve accounting problems
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
- Record charges and refunds
- Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records
- Contact individuals with delinquent accounts
- Ensure customers accept payments or refunds
- Utilize computer systems to run databases
- Support accounting personnel
- Follows Client's Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Five (5) years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Experience with MAS 200 Accounting system a plus.
