Accounting Manager Job

ACCOUNTING MANAGER - DIAGNOSTIC FINANCIAL REPORTING needed for a six (6) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Emeryville, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage the month-end close process for FRA Americas.
- Provide analytics for the Americas for monthly pre-close meeting.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations assigned and review of reconciliations prepared by Senior Accountant.
- Perform monthly pre-profit eliminations for Americas, responsible for the review of regional pre-profit eliminations and the preparation of consolidated pre-profit elimination and upload results to reporting system.
- Ability to interpret and draft position papers as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual Division requests as needed.
- Prepare monthly management reporting.
- Prepare monthly consolidation of Global Dx results (IS, BS, SCF).
- Develop, revise and implement business unit accounting policies in line with IFRS and Client global accounting policies.
- Ensure Diagnostics US Finance is compliant with SOX and Client Financial Controls Manual requirements.
- Improve communication, compliance and enforcement with the local Diagnostics business functions with respect to month-end processes, financial controls, etc. for your assigned functions.
- Support Associate Director with annual audits of Commercial, Joint Business or royalty customers.
- Develop relations with BPA team to ensure accurate reporting and appropriate processes are in place for month-end close.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS/BA degree in Accounting
- CPA and Big 4 experience preferred.
- Approximately six to nine (6 - 9) years of experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in close collaboration is required
