ACCOUNTING INTERN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with our client located in TAMPA, FL.

- Accounting

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assist with monthly financial close activities, including preparing journal entries for the PeopleSoft General Ledger system.
- Assist Financial Analysts with client deliverables and reconciliations.
- Assist with various audit requests.
- Participate or lead additional ad-hoc projects as necessary.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's Business degree program at an accredited college or university. Strong preference given to Accounting or Finance majors.
- Must have completed first year in college before beginning internship.
- Possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including but not limited to data summarization, functions (eg, reference and math formulas), and pivot tables; proficient in manipulating data and interested in analytics.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to see projects through to completion, problem solve, and multi-task under time constraints.
- Proactive nature, professionalism, and confidentiality required.
