Accounting Consultant

Description
Seeking an Accounting Consultant with strong experience with Triple Point Technologies for a project related to implementation of Commodity and Energy Trading Systems.

The Project is currently preparing for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and consultation is being sought to support the Back Office in their writing, and execution of Test Cases.

Requirements

- Experience with Triple Point's Commodity XL Software Suite with the Hedge Accounting Module and Credit Analytics module.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing of Back Office functionality of Triple Point's Commodity XL Software Suite with the Hedge Accounting Module and Credit Analytics module.
- An Accounting degree from an accredited University.
- Knowledge of and experience with Gas Utility accounting practices.

Desired

- Experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger is desired.

The consulting services will include but are not limited to:

- Assist with Back Office User Acceptance Testing Test Case writing
- Build the step wise test case structure using the already developed template format
- Incorporate company-specific accounting information and process from client's accounting staff in order to complete the Test Cases
- Assist with other Back Office UAT Preparation activities as needed
- Assist with UAT Execution tasks as needed

Duration
The duration of this engagement is foreseen to be from January 14, 2013 through March 29, 2013, with the option to extend through May 2013.

Location
The location of this work is primarily the company's corporate office in Chicago, IL. Some travel to Green Bay, WI may be required.
