Accounting Analyst Job

ACCOUNTING ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ability to diagnose and analyze problems and identify and drive appropriate solution
- Strong computer skills including all applications in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Reconciles simple to medium complex sub ledger accounts and financial records; creates analysis reports as needed.
- Investigates, analyzes, coordinates and tracks simple to medium complex customer issues and problems.
- Partner with business owners, customers and suppliers to understand underlying business processes to ensure that appropriate system and internal controls are in place.
- Researches and resolves discrepancies on general ledger accounts related to area of responsibility.
- Communicate and train business process for assigned areas as needed.
- Participates and/or lead team for process improvement, cost reduction and issue resolution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two to four (2-4) years of related analytical experience
- Experience facilitating meetings with high level cross functional teams.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Oracle
