Accountant: Trading Finance: World Leading Oil & Gas Co

World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join their global team in London assiting with all financial matters in Trading.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Timely and accurate reporting of Trading Financial results within the world outside North America (WONA) area, both for Group and Statutory Purposes.
- Prepare quarterly Group (Garance) and monthly financial statements
- Review the annual statutory accounts prepared by offshore financial accountants. 
- Ensure all balances sheet accounts are accurate and supported. 
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Group Accounting policies. 
- Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the internal control framework.

ABOUT YOU:

- Accounting experience in a corporate environment
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Ideally Degree qualified
- Experience in a Trading Environment

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
