ACCOUNTANT SENIOR - ACCA, ACA, CIMA - CONTRACT

Senior Accountant required by global organisation based in Victoria, London on an initial 6 - 12 Month Contract.

As a senior Accountant you will be responsible for the management of General Accounting including complex financial models and analysis. Be a direct contact for internal customers with respect to accounting inquiries/requests. Prepare journal entries to ensure transactions are recognized according to US GAAP and accumulate proper evidence to support journals & balance sheet reconciliations and Accounting for Payroll and associated accruals

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience and a Professional Accounting designation is required
- Advanced Excel skills required, experience of large accounting software package expertise (Oracle Financials, etc.)
- US GAAP exposure essential and prior experience in the software industry an advantage.
- Strong personal accountability, initiative and integrity.
- Proactive with effective time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be capable of working independently while communicating with supervisor on progress.
- Strong communication skills are a must (written, oral, and presentation).
- An analytical thinker who continually strives to identify and implement more effective processes.
- Detail-oriented while also demonstrating the ability to synthesize a complex issue into a straight-forward message.
