ACCOUNTANT, REBATES, INCENTIVES - BRUSSELS
We are a global financial technology company, currently seeking an associate accountant for a role just to the south of Brussels.
What's this job all about??
1. Rebates and incentives payments
Calculate rebates and incentives as per the contracts
Gather required approvals and submit into Contra Revenue System (CRS)
2. Contract review
Review contract language for pipeline deals to ensure consistency with standard wording
Review detailed CRS set up against contract for newly signed deals
3. Billing set up
Assist in the setup of companion product billing (auto pay for rebates) in the Billing System (MCBS) for newly signed deals
4. First line support to Switch Business Unit for questions/requests (escalate as required)
5. Customer Inquiries
Assist in the response to customer questions regarding billing, usually requires research and investigation (Level 2 support after Customer Operations Team)
Liase with Billing Team in the GBSC in the US
6. Rebate calculation workbooks
Perform updates of rebate calculations with most recent driver data
Liase with finance planners to validate assumptions used for forecast
Update Contra Revenue System (CRS) with amounts from calculation workbooks
7. Billing Manual Review
Assist in the review of country Billing Manuals to ensure completeness and accuracy of all related billing events
Liase with Billing Team in the GBSC in the US
Requirements:
Accounting or Finance university degree
At least 2 years of work experience preferred
Detail- oriented
Enthusiastic, hands on, proactive
High work ethic
Flexible and able to perform efficiently under tight deadlines
