Accountant/Management Accounting

One of our large Investment Banking clients is looking for an experienced a Accountant - CIMA or ACA Qualified with Investment Banking & Management Accounting experience ideally Management accounts

Your role, as part of a team of 4 in EMEA Corporate and Investment Banking will be to support the monthly financial and management reporting requirements as well as to provide input to various projects.

Will be required to meet and present financial information to the respective business heads at a minimum on a monthly basis.

This is a high profile role providing the opportunity to partner closely with the business

Key responsibilities
Provide financial support for EMEA products. Including: ongoing management reporting as well as involvement in any current projects/detailed expense analysis. asks would include but are not be limited to:
* Managing the preparation of monthly Management Financial Review packs covering p&l, revenue and expense analysis and other relevant financial information eg cost allocation details/Balance Sheet information, performance metrics. The packs are presented to business heads
* Preparation of Monthly Flash
* Close liaison with Finance colleagues during month-end cycles in respect of revenues, expenses and forecasts.
* Preparing detailed expense variance analysis and supporting the business in identifying cost savings.
* Preparation and input of month/full year forecasts.
* Supporting the Global and Local Business during the Budget cycle. This is both on a management and legal entity basis.
* Dealing with any ad hoc queries from Finance or the Business.

Qualified ACA or CIMA qualified
Investment Banking
Proven MIS reporting skills an advantage
Relevant product knowledge ideal.
Strong communication and presentation skills - able to present credibly Business Heads.
Ability to manage own workload in challenging and busy environment.
Ability to prioritise and balance multi and often conflicting requests/timeframes
Excel critical, Access experience an advantage
