Accountant (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Ensures timely, accurate booking and justification of monthly accounting transactions of the EEMEA trading entities
- Monitors transactions into to the books of the entities to ensure accuracy, integrity and adherence to time schedule
- Performs, assists or reviews account analysis and reconciliations on a periodic basis to ensure adherence to internal policies, SOX and ICS standards and accounting principles
- Assist the Senior Accountant in the preparation of the annual statutory reporting, including preparation of statutory financials, respective documentation and assistance during the statutory audit
- Works closely with experienced colleagues in income tax calculations for external and internal reporting and VAT filings.
- Key-contact person for approximately 20 markets in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Region for regional accounting matters, 3rd party receivables, working capital funding, intercompany transactions, financial variance analyses etc.
- Actively work on the financial transactions such as follow ups on cash collections, vendor payments, intercompany billing/settlements, recurring accruals, foreign exchange analysis etc.
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Solid Accounting/Finance education and background
- Profound experience
- Experience in a multinational environment
- Good knowledge and experience with accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS and Swiss GAAP)
- Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and analyze financial statements ("bilanzsicher")
- Strong affinity to ERP systems, preferably experienced with SAP (FI/CO) and proficient in Excel
- Proactive, dynamic, able to adapt to a fast changing environment and to cope with complex situations
- Fluent in English, German a plus, good communication skills
- Professional attitude and working independently as well as in a team
- Team player, hardworking and committed to achieve ambitious objectives
- Result oriented, pragmatic and energetic
