Accountant - Income - Segregated Clients (Interim)

Apps IT are looking to recruit an experienced income accountant or qualified accountant with financial services experience on an interim basis to take day-to day responsibility for raising client invoices and accounting for the resultant income.

Responsible for all components of income generated from assigned clients. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the raising of invoices, accounting for income, monthly accruals and ensuring completeness of income. Ensuring invoices are raised accurately in a timely manner and unpaid invoices are chased for settlement as appropriate. Preparing invoices and reviewing invoices prepared by peers. Liaising with Client Account Managers to resolve billing issues and collect unpaid debts. Liasing with Financial Control team in regards to income/billing issues and answering queries arising from month end accounting processes. Responding to Client and Client Relationship Manager queries. Ensuring compliance with debtor write-off policies. Production of invoicing and debtor MI. Input to the new billing and revenue management system. Including user acceptance testing. Proactive in seeking opportunities to improve existing processes and controls.

Honours degree from reputable university, 2i minimum.

3+ A-levels grades B or above.
