ACCOUNTANT - HALIFAX - BUSINESS CHANGE- £400-450PD

A leading UK Retail Bank requires a Qualified Accountant to join a key business change project based in Halifax.

You will be accountable for the following:

- Project management -identify and address risks and report progress against plan for own division
- SAP GL granularity - establish nominal account granularity for all intercompany relationships for P&L and Balance Sheet that exist within the division and are within the scope of the project.
- Work with intercompany SMEs and account owners within divisions as required.
- Nominal account utilisation - work collaboratively with intercompany SMEs in divisions to ensure new nominal accounts are being used and populated
- Liaising with project SMEs and divisional intercompany SMEs to facilitate satisfactory completion of project deliverable including participation in testing phases and gaining testing sign off

The following key skills and experience are required:

- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE ON LARGE SCALE BUSINESS CHANGE PROGRAMME
- SAP & ORACLE EXPERIENCE
- GENERAL LEDGER KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- ABILITY TO MONITOR PERFORMANCE, TAKING REMEDIAL ACTION WHEN REQUIRED TO ENSURE PROJECT RESULTS ACHIEVED
- ABILITY TO INFLUENCE AND FACILITATE DIVISIONAL MEETINGS THAT RESULT IN CONCLUSIONS AND DEFINED OWNERSHIP FOR ACTIONS
- ABILITY TO BREAK UP COMPLEX INFORMATION AND PRESENT IT IN A LOGICAL WAY
