Accountant: General Ledger, GERMAN, JD Edwards, SOX
A world renowned pharmaceutical organisation based near Brussels is seeking a General Ledger Accountant with at least 5 years practical accounting and finance experience in international accounting and reporting.
The successful candidate will have Swissgap knowledge and JD Edwards experience and capable of fulfilling the following responsibilities :
* Various General Ledger related bookings and duties (eg intercompany accruals, investments, etc.)
* Various FX bookings (revaluations and statutory unrealized gain elimination)
* Be responsible for Management Adjustments with other entities
* Assist on month- and year end close
* Responsible for various monthly and quarterly account reconciliations related to General Ledger accounts
* Prepare quarterly Balance Sheet Reviews
* Prepare various schedules for internal and external reporting
* Back up for tasks of other team member
* Contact person for internal and external audit
* Ensure proper accounting for US GAAP and Swiss GAAP
* Ensure SOX compliance
* Review and amend policies and procedures related to SOX
* Participate in the offshoring project
* Transfer knowledge to eSSC/train new hires in your daily work
