Accountant - Fully Qualified - GCB 5

I am currently looking for a newly qualified accountant for a position within a tier one financial institution. YOu will work within a project team of 4 which is currently responsible for the implementation of FINREP reporting as mandated by the European Banking Authority ("EBA") CRD 1V.

You will be responsible for:

Providing support and lead on various aspects of the project ie ensuring an in depth understanding and documentation of the data and template reporting requirements for development, addressing and taking ownership of any data or project issues as well and working closely with Business Controllers and Financial Reporting teams to provide guidance and support throughout the Project phases.

REQUIREMENTS

Newly qualified Accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACCA

A strong understanding of the Bank's financial reporting processes and systems

System optimisation experience in an external reporting field

Knowledge of Global Markets products and accounting rules desirable

The ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
