Accountant - Financial Statements

A leading UK Banking Group based in Bristol is looking to hire an "Assistant Finance Manager", acting as an accountant within the Financial Statements team in Business Services. This is an 8 month contract, ideal for an ACA qualified professional looking for a first move into Banking from Practice.

The successful candidate will become involved with the preparation of financial statements of approximately 250 subsidiaries of the bank.

This opportunity requires a motivated individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership for their deliverables.

Key skills:

- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Strong Accounting Skills
- IFRS knowledge
- Accountancy Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Experience of the Companies Act accounts process (including preparation of financial statements and experience liaising with external auditors and senior finance stakeholders)

Ideally suited for an ACA qualified accountant, looking for a first move into a dynamic role within the Banking Sector
