Accountant/Pricing Specialist - Contract

My client, a leading consultancy, is looking for a Management Account/Finance Specialist to join on a contract basis, based in Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial reporting packs, present these to account leadership team and advise on corrective action if required.

Prepare pricings for contract extensions
-

Prepare financial forecasts
-

Supervise deliverables of junior team member.

Work with account project managers to identify process issues that impact financial reporting and identify/implement solutions to address these.

Identify opportunities to enhance specific areas of the current financial reporting structure and pro-actively work to implement these enhancements.

Prepare or advise on materials for account board meetings.
-

Assist with and/or manage expenses: periodically review expense budgets, follow-up on questionable or invalid expenses

Key requirements:

-

Qualified/part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
-

Excellent Excel skills (eg pivot tables/vlookups) Pro-active/able to learn quickly
