My client, a leading bank, urgently requires an Accountant with an extensive background in Financial Control to help support a high profile project in undertaking end to end ownership for the financial information. The role is on an initial 6 month contract, based in their Bristol office and is paying up to £325 per day.
The candidate will be required to:
- Be a Qualified accountant with thorough understanding of financial accounting principles
- Support to the Trend review process, a detailed month on month analytical review of key Income and Balance Sheet lines for the underlying source systems.
- Preparation of journals to be uploaded onto the SAP general ledger
- Ensuring compliance with Finance Sarbanes Oxley requirements, specifically with regards to Journals, Balance Sheet Account Confirmations and Reconciliations.
- Banking or Financial Services Project experience
