ACCOUNTANT/FINANCIAL ANALYST
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking Accountant/
Financial Analyst to join the bank.
For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- perform the bi-annual consolidation in COGNOS and drive, co-ordinate and monitor the meeting of reporting deadlines of the group audit
- take over the responsibility as Product Financial Manager for selected Real Estate Fund a/o Mandate in this very fast growing international business
- manage and oversee the statutory audits and address country-specific issues with the external auditors for the property companies in your region
- perform bridging entries for the property companies in your region for group reporting purposes
- manage and support the financial due diligence process of potential property acquisitions in your region
- active participation in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- manage VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance of the property companies in your region with the support of local business partners/consultants
- perform mortgage solutions with various banks; participation in internal finance projects
- The position will require international travelling of 5%
You must possess:
- recently qualified CPA/CA or a qualified accountant with completed auditor-in-training articles
- more than 3 years of hands-on experience in a comparable international environment; preferably with a BIG 4 company or a multi-national company
- solid accounting basis; knowledge of international accounting standards as well as Swiss GAAP is of benefit
- experience in the use of consolidation software, preferably familiar with COGNOS
- confident in dealing with external auditors, tax consultants and a Matrix organization
- fluent in English
