Accountant, Client Investments, Graduate

Our client, a large bank, has a requirement for a Graduate Level Accountant. The ideal candidate would be a Graduate level candidate who has demonstrated relevant work experience (6/12 months) for the role be that in a full time or unpaid capacity.

Responsibilities:
* receive and action client investment instructions
* ensuring that client investments/divestments are processed in compliance with client mandates
* reporting cash flow activity on funds
* transaction reporting to clients/consultants
* managing encashment policies
* managing queries from consultants/clients on unitised investments and dealing processes
* adherence to compliance and Anti Money Laundering policies

Ideal Candidate:

* Graduate level candidate who has demonstrated relevant work experience for the role be that in a full time or unpaid capacity.
* Have a high level of accuracy, good attention to detail, a strong awareness of risk and understand the implication of errors.
* Be capable of working on own initiative
* Be ambitious and motivated to succeed within an operational environment.
* Have a structured approach to work with the ability to be flexible when required
* Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Be capable of building cohesive relationships within the department and across other departments.
* Be a good team player.
* Strong MS Excel skills
