Accountant - Bristol - Life Insurance - Contract

In Bristol, a great opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant that has worked in the Life Insurance industry.

For the next 3 months you will be supporting the Solvency 2 project, supporting the development of an Essbase reporting system so as to enable the reporting of IFRS, SII and ICA+ results.

The ideal candidate will be able to show previous life insurance reporting experience and an understanding of a Life Insurance Balance sheet.

We are looking for someone with:
- Life Insurance Balance Sheet exposure, including the collection and management of data through to final reports.
- Experienced in the use of, and or development of reporting from Oracle, OLAS ledger systems and Essbase. Further experience of SAP is advantageous.
- Significant experience in the production of IFRS and PRA Pillar I annual reporting
- Excellent communication skills, who can engage with at different levels in the organisation
- Good interpersonal skills and is able to communicate complex technical concepts in simple ways
- Proactivity - the desire to commit to the project and its objectives
- Outstanding work ethic - is able to work to milestones and deadlines.

This is a contract role as mentioned for 3 months based in the heart of Bristol paying up to £350 per day.
