CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers
HOURS:
- 40 hours/week; generally M-F 8am - 5pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
What I am really looking for is...an accountant that has general accounting knowledge, great interpersonal skills, can learn quickly in a fast paced environment, has great Excel skills to handle large data files, and can communicate clearly and effectively.
TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing reconciliations of bank accounts
- Performing monthly close activities for new claims system
- Performing daily reconciliation of claims system to bank, claims system and print vendor
- Performing account analysis and ad hoc requests
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience
- Bank reconciliation
- Journal entry preparation
- Intermediate-to-Advanced Excel knowledge
