Accountant - 6 Month Contract

Accountant

Description:

Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues including the maintenance of internal controls.

Participates in and implements monthly financial close, supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets.

Prepares monthly management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules. Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

2 to 3 minimum relevant experience

Strong analytical accounting skills

Min. intermediate Excel, etc.

Health care background desired

4 year. degree in business w/emphasis in accounting

Large company experience with Mainframe experience and working with large amounts of data

Ability to prioritize work

Can work well individually, or with a team.

Flexible and easy to get along with.
