Description:
Reviews general ledger accounts and prepares and adjusts journal entries.
Performs account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
Maintains the general ledger chart of accounts.
Assists with initial internal control evaluations.
Posts monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.
Top Daily responsibilities:
Coding asset set up files for loading into asset management
Research missing purchase order information/errored POs
Work with customers (ie buyers, regions) to help educate on process/MIS classification of POs and impact downstream and discuss asset transfers for impacted groups.
Requirements:
BA in Accounting or Finance plus minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience.
Organized
Strong analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player
Ability to initiate and drive process improvements, implement best practices.
Needs to be very good with Excel 2010 (comfortable with vlookups, formulas, pivots, concatenation, etc), Lotus Notes and 10-key.
