Accountant

A leading bank in Bristol who have a growing business within the insurance space are seeking a qualified accountant to join their team in the finance department within the insurance function.

The initial 3 month contract will be focused on implementing a new capital model into the business.

WHATS ON OFFER:

CONTRACT: 3 months
LOCATION: Bristol
RATE: £325- £350 p/day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The initial stages of the contract will require the successful candidate to design data inputs to a new capital model. Further to this, the role will require reviewing and updating ancillary process which are currently supported by the existing general insurance capital model. The later stages of the project will involve manipulating outputs from the new model for reporting purposes. Working within the project you will be responsible for the main accounting support to the team, involving yourself with required financial reporting for the project. Due to the nature of the project the candidate should have experience working within IFRS and GAAP as well as having a background working within insurance and financial service industry.
