Accountant

My client is a small drinks producer company based in London.  They are looking for an Accountant to cover a 12 month maternity leave contract.

As the Accountant you will be working on your own for a small team so you must have a confident and friendly disposition, be experienced and knowledgeable in your field as well as being outgoing with good communication skills.  The ideal candidate will know how to use their own initiative and will have previously worked on management accounts.

The Accountant's duties will include:

- All aspects of bookkeeping including invoicing, payments, VAT returns, credit control and customer management, payroll, foreign currency bank accounts, reconciliations, etc
- Monthly and quarterly financial and sales reporting
- Cash flow management
- Expense budgets tracking
- Preparing information for annual accounts
- Working closely with the operations manager and commercial director on forecasting and process control
- From time to time, as required, leading projects to enhance our systems and processes to help the business adapt as it grows
