Accountant

Hudson are recruiting for a Accountant for a large financial services organisation based in Manchester for 4 month contract.

THE ROLE

As an Accountant you will be primarily responsible,to deliver effective, efficient Sarbanes-Oxley, regulatory compliant finance processes, in accordance with local and consolidated GAAP, useable, accurate and timely financial information from the point of transaction through to financial close and external reporting.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Posts journal entries for moderately complex general ledger accounts
- Reconciles activity to ensure that the trial balance includes expected transactions and reflects the correct balances
- Moderately complex accruals, adjustments, reconciliations of accounts or financial data
- moderately complex accounting activities and general ledger events

OUR CLIENT

Our client is a large financial services who is a market leader and ahead of its competitors. Due to growth and workload they are looking for Accountant to join their finance team.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Qualified ACCA, CIMA
- Public accounting (preferred)
- Exposure in a financial services exposure
- At 2 years of experience performing core accounting

WHAT IS ON OFFER?

A daily rate of £200-£210
