Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team in Aldershot for an initial 6 month contract.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

- Management of Project Accounts mail box. Dealing with queries and ensuring appropriate approvals are sought.
- Completion of projects & small order billing.
- Accurate closure of COS prepayments and Hardware consignment stock calculations & balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with month end timetable.
- Review and approve WBS code set up/amendment requests.
- Extracts of project master data from SAP.
- Update revenue recognition model with customer acceptance details received.
- Update revenue recognition models for new WBS codes.
- Ad hoc billing and project milestone queries.
- Support variance review.
- Unbilled Income/Deferred Income presentation journal
- Small order revenue deferrals
- Project milestone loads into SAP

MUST HAVE SKILLS

- Strong Accountancy experience
- SAP
- Ad hoc billing
- Good communication skills
