Accountancy Policy Specialist, Canary Wharf, 6 Month Contract

I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountancy Policy Specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month contract based in Canary Wharf

Brief Job Description

I'm looking for an experienced Accountancy Policy Specialist to join a tier one investment bank. You will be part of the team who focus solely group wide accountancy policy.

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
*Degree in accounting
*Experience in US GAAP & IFRS accounting and financial reporting
*Effective communicator (verbal and written skills)
-Ability to develop relationships with clients across the globe and from different cultures
-ability to clearly articulate GAAP requirements via the policy development process

*Self starter - ability to efficiently and effectively manage work, time and resources
*Proactive - ability to identify opportunities and develop new ideas to improve the current processes
*Team player - ability to work as part of a team across a diverse workforce
*Experience in investment or commercial banking
*Experience in SEC reporting
*Exposure to US GAAP
*Exposure to IFRS
