BACKGROUND
London & Partners is the official promotional company for London. We promote London and attract businesses, events, congresses, students and visitors to the capital. Our aims are to build Londons international reputation and to attract investment and visitor spend, which create jobs and growth.

It is our privilege to promote London around the world, working in partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA), UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), VisitBritain and other destination marketing organisations, the London boroughs and many other key stakeholders, as well as our 1,000-plus private sector partners.

Our target audiences are leisure and business tourists, the travel trade, event organisers, overseas businesses and investors, and prospective higher education students. Our marketing and promotional activities are designed to encourage visits, investments and spend in London now, as well as building Londons reputation to support its long term success. Our mission is to tell London's story brilliantly.

We are a not-for-profit public private partnership, funded by the Mayor of London and our network of commercial partners.

PURPOSE OF ROLE
As our Account Executive for Digital Advertising, you will be joining a fast moving ecommerce team to assist the Head of Digital and Ecommerce in growing the customer base. Day to day you will handle the B2C account issues and support your line manager in executing the strategic objectives.

KEY TASKS

- Create and pitch advertising campaign proposals, including taking the lead on lower value opportunities and helping senior management to convert higher value campaigns.
- Ensure our campaign proposals are competitive and compelling and all communications are high quality in content and tone.
- Ensure that proposals 100% accurate, on-budget and distributed in a timely fashion.
- Confidently recommend advertising options that will ensure the best possible results for our partners and clients.
- Work with ecommerce executive to deliver campaign reporting and meaningful insights reports and case studies. Monitor results for the client and recommend optimisation strategies where relevant.
- Liaise with 3rd party agencies to maintain up to date pipeline meetings with accurate information and frictionless communications around campaigns.
- Maintain relationships with key media agencies.
- Manage information portals relating to campaign management, content or specifications.
- Manage client and internal team expectations and escalate issues quickly to the relevant director/manager.
- Quickly gain a full understanding of our clients business in order to confidently speak from a position of authority and help recommend advertising options.
- Gain the respect and trust of clients by demonstrating knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm for their business and how L&P can help to achieve the results they desire.
- Use your knowledge of the media landscape and advertising business to work quickly and efficiently to achieve corporate objectives.
- Be knowledgeable about relevant media advertising terms and formats. (programmatic, billboards, CPU, skyscrapers)
- Demonstrate flexibility, working across teams to deliver the best proposals to maximise the revenue for L&P and meet our corporate objectives.
