ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY - NORTH NEW JERSEY
My client, is looking for a strategic account lead to manage current accounts, lead an internal team of 4, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. They have just won a bunch of business (both new and organic growth) and this is a great opportunity to join the rapidly expanding team and agency.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Client Management
* Demonstrate ability to communicate with clients about account and brand strategic needs that lead to organic growth
* Develop relationship with client to gauge performance and promote organic growth
* Offer solutions to client promoting efficiencies and areas of improvement for accounts and projects
* Mentoraccount project leads on superior client management
Management Support and Oversight
* Delegation of work to account project leads
* Providing appropriate level of one-on-one time with direct reports
* Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and make decisions independent from senior management
Financial Management
* Estimate and statement of work development for new projects
* Regular and accurate budget reconciliations for all projects
* Communicating budget-related details to client
Business Development
* Assist senior management in identifying and quantifying areas for growth
* Drive organic and new business growth within existing accounts
* Contribute to the develop proposals and deliver new business presentations for new business prospects
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 5 years in medical education, marketing, or advertising agency
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with Medical Communications(specifically Promotional Medical Education)
* Proven ability to manage high volume Speaker's Bureau from an Account Management and Operations Management perspective
* Digital experience (e-learning, interactive, sales training, webcasts, live streaming)
* Demonstrated experience working on any and all of the following:
* Professional marketing (e.g. Direct-to-Physician, Managed Care/Health Care plans, devices, pharmacies, etc.)
* Consumer Marketing (e.g. Direct-to-Patient, Relationship Marketing, Consumer Advertising, etc.)
* Must have a thorough understanding of client's business/category and demonstrate a best in class approach in offering marketing solutions to key clients
* Demonstrated success in managing a cross-functional team
